I've been blessed with a very nice commercial art career for over two decades. And even though my current daytime position utilizes a very large percentage of my skills and interests, I can't imagine how it would encompass all aspects of my creative interests.

AfterFiveCreative.com was developed to share those other areas. One of which is donating illustrations for charity auctions. More than likely, you are here because you saw my display at an auction.

If you wish to be considered to have a custom drawing donated to your fundraiser, send an email to: auctions@afterfivecreative.com and include the charity name, location, type of auction, and date. The standard donation is a custom 11x14 drawing valued at $350 -- matting, framing, shipping not included. I will donate to about six auctions per year and those who have had me auction a drawing before will have first consideration.

So far, 2007 donations include Children's Care of Sioux Falls, Sioux Falls Lutheran School, Sioux Falls Christian School and Great Plains Zoo. I also assisted the Sioux Empire Baseball Association with their 2007 Program Ad Book.

I do leave some evening time for custom drawing orders from the general public. They make great one-of-a-kind gifts for Christmas, Mother's/Father's Day, Weddings, Birthdays and Commemoratives. Do plan ahead, though, since the drawing can take a couple of weeks to complete and it takes a couple of weeks for framing.
